Parent Pick-Up 2021-22
We have internally refined our Parent Pick-Up process so that THE SECURITY OF OUR STUDENTS IS TIGHTLY MONITORED. We are asking that parents DO NOT come into the building to pick up students. We are insisting that there be NO confusion or distractions in our front corridor during dismissal so that we can "eyeball" every child! The car pick up lines will be the most efficient way to come for your child, and will be FASTER than coming into the building. The front desk will not be manned during car pick-up. All hands will be on duty monitoring your children for the SAFEST, most secure pick-up process possible.
Absences/Tardies
If your child is absent, a note MUST be sent in upon the child's return to school. Please include your child's complete name (first & last) along with the date and the reason for the absence. Please sign the note and include a contact telephone number. Also, any time you send a note please include the child's complete name.
Breakfast
Breakfast is available free for all Forest Ridge Elementary students. Breakfast begins at 8:50 am.
Lunch Money
School lunches may be paid for on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Money should be placed in a envelope with the student's name, teacher's name, lunch account number, and the amount being paid. For further information contact Frances Grimsley. You may prepay your child's account on line, view their lunch room purchases, and receive low balance notifications on line at https://www.mypaymentsplus.com/welcome. In or set up your account you will need your child's lunch number and CCSB student number which can be obtained from the cafeteria staff or your child's teacher.

Parents need to bring all medications to the clinic. A note will be filled out listing the dosage and times to be given. All medication dispensed by the clinic must be in original containers. { See Clinic Guidelines }If you have questions regarding clinic procedures please contact Donna Belanger
Transportation Changes
If your child has a transportation change, notification must be received by the front office in writing. All notes must be dated, signed (with phone number), and have noted your child's full name, teacher and grade. If someone other than yourself will be picking up your child, they must be listed on your child's emergency card and have proper identification. If your child will be riding a bus, be sure the note includes the following information:
- dated with the bus number or COLOR
- the stop cross roads or address
- your child's name, teacher, and grade
- your signature with a phone number in case further information is required
