You don't have to volunteer to be a member. There are many ways to support PTA, including payment of annual dues ($5) or providing food for staff appreciation events, donating goods or time, providing feedback, recruiting other members – you get the idea.
Where does the $5 go? $3 is passed on to National PTA and Florida state PTA, but $2 remains here at FRE … supporting many FREE events and programs offered during the school year. Working together, we support all children at FRE.
If you would like to help on one of our committees or are looking for a way to get involved, contact any PTA Officer or Committee Chair. Or dig out the Volunteer Opportunities Form from the “first day” information and send it to school with your child.
The bottom line? You'll get the membership card, but your child will benefit the most from your support. So find that Membership Form from the “first day” information or grab a Membership Brochure (page 1) (page 2) from the receptionist at the Front Desk and join us today!
